PROMOTING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL 4 (Back to School Project through Inclusive Neighborhood Spaces)

Hello! Team Q8

With the team of new volunteers ready to launch out and make their own mark on a world without poverty, the revelation that about 10.5 million children are out of school in Nigeria prompted Ezekiel and Scott to take us on a journey focused on Education with an objective to raise awareness amongst ourselves of the outcomes of education in developing countries for their Active Citizenship Day (ACD).

Facts and Stats, why you should act

Ohh! Are you one of those with the assumption that more than half of the 7 billion people in the world have received some form of education, you better see these shocking facts that will get your eyeballs out.

They went further to present us with stats from UNICEF.

Education, why bother?
Still not convinced?
Hang on!

Education is a process which should be creative, impacting, engaging and providing knowledge on how to meet the world’s problems. Education is a major precursor in achieving most of the other Sustainable Development goals (SDGs) as they work interdependently.

Education provides us with a learning platform where individuals and communities can achieve their dreams through translating their skills to realities while providing them with tools necessary to combat poverty. Investing in education will transform the future of children, youths and the vulnerable in the society.
Everyone deserves a chance of securing a quality Education.

Our Role, Who is Involved?

Often times we are made to believe that we have done enough but more is stil required to sound and resound the need for quality education to all concerned and affected.

The voices and opinions of volunteers were heard as it regards challenges facing education and it is important your voice is heard too.

In the advent of social media which serves as a powerful tool to advocate for causes we are passionate about, we can engage key community leaders, youths, Government officials as well as hold them accountable for the development required in our society.

All hands must be on deck to #MakeNaijaStronger as the world rallies to meet the deadline set for inclusive and equitable quality education for all by 2030.

Impact Kwali!
